A proxy server has a list of “authorized” websites. When the consumer’s pc requests the tackle from the Internet, the proxy checks it against the list, and if the web site is authorised, it authorizes the firewall to let the site visitors through. If the website will not be permitted, then the firewall sends a message saying “you aren’t authorized to go to this website.”
